Welcome to the Avid Photographer Web Site, and the photography of
 William Carpenter of Winter Springs, Florida.

The interplay between the world we live in and the light that allows us to see it is ever changing. The angle of light through the trees varies from day to day as the earth makes its way around the sun. What one sees today will not be repeated for 365 more, and when that day comes around again, the environment and the subjects will have changed. That which we see today may never be seen again. It is this photographer’s endeavor to capture and preserve these fleeting images.  I call it Exploring The Light.
